Due to the growing popularity of the metal genre, the number of accomplished guitarists cultivating this field has risen sharply in recent years.

The coveted job as lead guitarist of the legendary heavy metal combo U.D.O. & DIRKSCHNEIDER by ex-Accept singer Udo Dirkschneider was only won by one person – Fabian “Dee” Dammers.

Therefore “Dee” is studio and live guitarist as well as songwriter for one of the most influential German metal bands. He is also in demand worldwide as a producer, songwriter and guitarist.

With U.D.O., Dee has performed all over the world, from Russia to Jamaica to Tokyo or South America and has released several albums, all of which reached the Top 10 of the official German album charts.

Most recently, the album ‘Touchdown’ was released, for which Dee wrote the title track. In November 2024, the Touchdown world tour launches in the USA.

With his pop/metal band “DIRTY D’SIRE”, founded in Melbourne in 2016, he produced several full length albums as well as some singles and EPs. A special feature that distinguishes all of the band’s releases is the high quality of the recording with extra clean sound and technically demanding instrumentals.

This already paid off on DIRTY D’SIRE’s first release. A few months after the release, the band has reached the TOP5 of the Spotify charts and reaches more than half a million fans.

The first EP “HURRICANE”, which was produced by Dee, was released in November 2016 and was praised by Metal Hammer magazine as a “non-stop hit firework”.

With success at their back, the band then embarked on their first headlining tour in 2017, playing a series of concerts in 8 selected German cities.

Since then, Dee Dammers has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in the international guitar scene and toured with bands like Aerosmith, Scorpions or Alter Bridge.

He also feels at home at big festivals like Soundwave (AU), Rock am Ring (GER) or Download (UK) and many more.

Having this CV in his luggage, success as a solo artist did not fail to materialise.

His debut album “Bubbly Joyride To Utopia” was received extremely positively, including by the leading German music magazine “Gitrarre&Bass”, which rated the ideas, arrangements and production of the album as “absolutely world class” and selected the album as Record Of The Month in May 2020.
