We’re delighted to welcome Alex Grube, one of Germany’s foremost bassists, as a Klotz endorser.

Alex is the incredibly flexible master of an array of different styles and has worked with a host of German and international artists, including Sarah Brightman, Helene Fischer, Marc Forster, Unheilig, Tim Bendzko and Henrik Freischlader – to name just a few.

World-famous producers also sing his praises – among them Franz Plasa ( Mariah Carey, Selig, etc.), who enthused, “Incredible timing, peerless musical talent and a level of musical understanding that makes me green with envy”, and Frank Peterson (Sarah Brightman, Enigma, etc.), who comments, “I’ve worked with Nathan East, Tony Levin and Pino Palladino, and there is not the faintest shadow of a doubt that Alex is right up there with them.”

Armed with glowing references like these, Alex is always keen to expand his field of activity.

His latest gig is a professorship at the University of Münster, where he passes his knowledge on to up-and-coming bass players.
